League of Legends New Champion: Tahm Kench "The River King" - The First Glance


Finally I bought the new League of Legends champion, Tahm Kench "The River King". Tahm Kench is a support type champion but in two of my normal matches I tried him as a pure ap(ability point) champion. One of this normal matches is, I tried him as top laner and the other one is a mid laner which both I build Rod of Ages as first item and second is Luden's Echo. What I like about this champion is you can make fun of your team. For example, your teammate is going to recall, use your W or the "Devour" to eat your teammate so that his recall will be cancel. Also as making fun with my teammate sometimes I use the Devour to "KS" or kill steal those enemy champions that is can only 1 hit by my team. You can also make fun of the monster. You carry the farm monster example the crab and throw it somewhere a bit far from where it should be. But you can also use those monster and minions as weapon by throwing them to the enemy by repressing the W or the (Devour).

 

Skills:

Passive:  An Acquired Taste
An Acquired Taste - Basic attacks and damaging abilities apply stacks of An Acquired Taste to enemy champions. At three stacks, Tongue Lash and Devour become empowered against that champion.

Q - Tongue Lash (Level 1)


Damage the first enemy hit for 80 (+? ap) magic damage and slow them by 30% for 2s. Champions with 3 stacks of An Acquired Taste will be stunned for 1.5s.

Activate Devour while your tongue is in midair to devour monsters/minions from distance.

W - Devour (Level 1)
Devour a target for 4s (half that for enemy champions.) Enemies are dealt 20%(+? ap) of their maximum health as magic damage(maximum if 400 against neutral monsters).

Enemy Champions: Requires 3 stacks of An Acquired Taste to be devoured. While holding an enemy champion, Tahm Kench is slowed by 95%.

Allied Champions: While holding an allied champion, Tahm Kench gains 30% movement speed toward enemy champions (halved when not moving toward enemy champions).

Minions and Monsters: Reactivate to spit them, dealing 100(+? ap) magic damage to targets hit.

E - Thick Skin (Level 1)
Passive: Damage taken while this ability is not cooling down is converted to gray health. If allowed to decay, 20% of gray health will turn back into health.

Active: Convert all of your gray health into a shield that lasts 6 seconds, but falls off gradually over that time.

R - Abyssal Voyage (Level 1)
Passive: Basic attacks and damaging abilities deal additional 23 (20 + 4% of Tahm Kench's bonus health) magic damage.

Active: Begin to channel for up to 15 seconds. During this time, one ally champion can right click Tahm Kench to join in. Alternatively, reactivate this abiliti to travel alone. On reactivation or once an ally has opted in, Tam travels to the target location. Incoming champion damage breaks the channel.
